1. Travel Insurance
We provide a Single and Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance which will cover you whilst riding a Segway in destinations around the world. Our policy includes cover for medical and repatriation costs, trip cancellation, and more.
2. Travel Insurance Bolt-On
If you have an existing travel insurance policy in place with another provider such as your bank but it does not include cover for riding a Segway, we can provide a bolt-on style of protection for your trip.
3. Sports Accident Insurance

Our Sports Accident Insurance is designed to protect you whilst riding a Segway in the UK. It offers a variety of benefits such as personal accident, physiotherapy fees, as well as the option to protect your income should you be forced off work with an injury.
If you are travelling overseas, our Sports Travel Insurance policy would be better suited providing cover against flight delays, cancellations and medical emergencies to name a few.

Why do you need Segway Insurance?
Despite Segways only reaching a maximum speed of 12.5 miles per hour, they are considered a hazardous activity, due to the risk of death and serious injury from loss of control, collisions or falls.
Segways are seen to be dangerous, like any vehicle the risk of accidents is apparent. Ensuring that you have personal protection before riding a Segway is recommended just to cover yourself should anything arise.

Standard travel insurance policies do not always cover hazardous activities. Our Sports Travel Insurance is specifically designed to cover over 500 high risk activities such as bungee jumping, skateboarding, ski-acrobatics and many more.
Our Sports Travel Insurance policy provides up to £5,600 worth of equipment cover. This add-on not only protects your own equipment, but also any equipment you hire during your trip. It also covers your Segway equipment in transit to and from your destination.
Our policies will cover anyone up to the age of 74 at the time of purchase. An applicant aged 75 or over cannot be covered.
Yes, our Segway Travel Insurance can generally be taken out even if you have a medical condition. We can almost always offer cover at no extra cost, but occasionally our underwriters may apply special terms if you subsequently needed to make a claim relating to your condition.
